Terms and Conditions
We don’t like this bit any more than you do, but have found it’s necessary to ensure we are all happy!
Please read it carefully.
Admission to the Park implies a commitment to uphold the rules of the park which set out general standards of conduct and behaviour required. Any person in breach of these rules may be asked to leave the Park with no refund. The management is entitled to refuse admission if deemed necessary even when a prior booking has been made. We do our best to ensure that all our campers can enjoy their time with us with the best conditions we can offer. With this in mind, we reserve the right to alter your pitch allocation before your arrival without notification.
2025 Season: 4th April – 30th September
Bookings: you are making a booking enquiry. If your dates and accommodation are available, you will receive an invoice requesting a 30% deposit. As soon as your deposit is received you are then making a booking.
If you make a booking, a contract exists between you and Springfields Countryside Caravan and Camping Park as soon as we have issued our confirmation, and payment has been made (including any deposit). You should check this carefully to see that it reflects your wishes. You will receive an invoice 1 week prior to your arrival for your remaining balance.
Cancellation and refund policy: If you cancel your booking no later than 7 days before the arrival date, the balance of your payment after deduction of your deposit will be refunded. If less than 7 days’ notice is given to cancel or postpone your booking, no monies are refundable. Should you wish to change the dates of your booking, you may do so up to 2 weeks before your arrival to another later date within the same season. This is subject to availability and will incur an admin fee of £10. We are unable to alter booking dates with less than 2 weeks’ notice and we cannot transfer your booking into a later season. If you change your dates of arrival, this is classified as a postponed booking and any subsequent cancellation is not eligible for a refund. As you are making a contract with us as outlined in these terms, your booking may not be transferred to another party or individual.
Insurance: You are strongly advised to have travel insurance in place to protect your payment against unexpected illness or other reasons to cancel, as we do not accept responsibility for you being unable to use your reservation. We recommend that you get a quote for specialist UK travel insurance.
Arrivals:
For those whose vehicle/caravan is 2 meters high or over please call the campsite as you enter Breach Lane so that someone can open the barrier for you.
Your pitch is guaranteed to be available from 1pm, Rental Tents are guaranteed to be available from 3pm. The latest arrival time is 8pm or before dark if earlier.
Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. We reserve the right to refuse entry for arrivals after 8.00pm unless pre-arranged. This is to protect those of our campers who have already arrived from the disturbance of setting up, headlamps, car noise, banging in tent pegs etc.
For non-arriving guests, your pitch or rental tent will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to re-let your unit. All arrivals must check in at the gate by phoning the number on the gate, before proceeding into the Camping Park, even if you have visited us before.
Units are allocated on arrival.
Departures: Please leave by 11.00am – failure to do so will incur a further night’s charge. No refunds are given for early departure.
